Question

“If you could only give one advice on creativity to hundreds of students, what would your best advice be? How will creativity help them to live better and perform or achieve better? I’m giving a conference on Friday and I would love to transmit your advice to my students.” – Mauro

I sipped from my moustache mug with coffee, my mind exploding from the 100.000 possible answers to his question. I paused for a moment to think, and then started typing some of the first thoughts that came to my mind. I finished my email and hit the send button.

Would you also like to hear my thoughts on what creativity is, and what the implications are on how to take action?

Well, c’est possible!

Because I made a video of it.

Tadaaa!! (Try to read that in the voice of Lucien from ‘Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain’ revealing an artichoke.)

PS. This was the first video I made where it’s literally just me talking. I’m curious to know if you would like to see more of these videos. So if you want to know why I do RAK, what’s my favourite animal or how to put silly ideas into action, simply ask! Share your burning, silly, related and unrelated questions in the comments or by email!

Loved this. I am over here from the “Double Your Followers…” fb group. I have also signed up for your newsletter!

Specifically, I love how you are focusing on the fact you need to fail A LOT to get to the final result. So true!

Useful advice Mariëlle. And at the same time it’s nice to sit back, relax and watch instead of reading something. A nice extra medium to express yourself!

Thanks! Whenever I try something new like this, it’s difficult to know how it’s perceived. Your feedback is helpful and makes me more confident and willing to mix my regular posts up with video every now and then. :)
