In less than 48 hours I will fly across the globe to travel around Asia for 3 months. It’s a dream I’ve had for a very long time, but never seemed to find the time or courage for. You are the director of your life though. You decide on what scenes get made, what plot twists occur and how your main character develops.

Following your dreams starts with small ideas. It starts with exposing yourself to different possibilities, different realities as opposed to the reality you are living right now. Sometimes these ideas are very easy to implement. Sometimes they need time, effort and courage.

Life is a chain of ideas and actions. Your life is largely summed up by the quality of your ideas and whether you choose to put them into action or not.

Ideas are very powerful. They are the start of ancient inventions and modern technological developments. They spark social movements. They bring people together and turn an ordinary space into an inspiring oasis. They can transform how you choose to live your life.

That’s why I decided to create an endless source of fun, playful, silly and magical ideas. Life could be so many things. It shouldn’t be bound by the social norms or the habits you’ve fallen into. I thought of countless everyday scenarios that could use a little magic. I brainstormed endlessly until I had a collection of 1001 ideas. But I figured it shouldn’t stop with just a huge list of ideas. Every list of ideas should work as fun visual inspiration source as well. It should be something so pretty that you would want to hang it on your wall. So I photographed a total of 28 posters and designed them into a unique collection that you can print and frame.

Don’t worry. 1001 Ideas isn’t a collection of outrageous ideas like going backpacking by yourself. It’s a suggestion to live everyday life in an extraordinary way. It’s about turning your home into a magical place, about making a small difference while using your unique talents, about reconnecting with your playful side and finding silly and fun ways to create a little sparkle into everything you do.

I believe that you should find the adventure in the everyday. Visit unknown places in your town, take on a new hobby, organise a picnic in your living room and start a secret club.

Living passionately is about finding – or creating – something special in the mundane. I created the ultimate inspiration resource to do exactly that. I’m proud to present my awesome new digital product to you: 1001 Ideas for a creative, playful and happy life.
