The weather has been beautiful here for this time of the year. So on a sunny March afternoon, I decided to take my magical mission outside. I talked about painting stains before here on my blog. By now I have made quite the collection: a rainbow creature, fire-spitting dragon, exploding astronaut, drooling roller-skater, escargo-cart and penguins hot air balloon.

The basic idea is this: you find a stain on the street. You will be surprised by how many paint stains there are once you start paying attention to them. Then you try to imagine what it looks like, kind of like watching clouds. Get wild with paint and imagination, and transform the stain into a little piece of art. I have decided to call this form of street art ‘stain gaming’. It is a surprising way to make something that is boring and undesired into something quirky and fun.

For a change, I made a short video of the process (click here if you can’t see the video). Enjoy!
