I made a couple of fortune peanuts. I filled half of them with kind messages, and the other half with glitter. Then I went out to leave them in random places. All peanuts were accompanied with a little note to encourage people to open them.
This is not the first time I’ve done this. I like the idea so much though that I included the materials and instructions for my ‘peanut message idea’ in my kindness kit (which you can buy in my Etsy shop). It’s such a fun and surprising way to spread kindness.
I hope my peanuts will be found by people who need to hear some uplifting words today. You never know what someone is going through. And if you’re having a blue day, it can’t hurt to hear that you are worthy or to receive a peanut glitter bomb from a stranger, right?
What about you? How is your day today? Have you been spreading creative kindness lately? Remember that this is the last week in which you can add any of your projects to the Creative Kindness Month Link-up!

This is my favorite part of your kindness kits. ^-^ I was gonna do something similar with walnut shells someday!

Awesome! That’s how I got the idea actually. My grandfather used to ‘trick’ people with empty walnuts
