One of the fun things about painting is creating a magical dream world in which anything goes. A red helium balloon? Yes! A purple spotted, yellow skinned, single eyed monster throwing confetti? Why not?
I converted the many hours of intensive painting into a two-minute time lapse. Watch the video below or on Youtube.
If you are interested, this happy monster can be yours. I added the original painting to my Etsy shop. His little friend, the monster in a coffee cup has already been sold (the original painting that is, prints are still available).
I am thinking of doing a little monster series. What do you think? Any particular monster you would love to see come alive on canvas?

I love the different textures in the confetti paint. And that little monster guy is adorable.

I used more texture than what I do normally, but I’m happy with the result :)
