While my blog might have been a bit more quiet than usual on the surface, I have been working hard on a very exciting new project behind the scenes *drum roll*: launching my own Etsy shop! *padum tsss*
I decided to sell some of the artwork I make by offering original acrylic canvas paintings, limited edition art prints and postcards.
Up until now, I hadn’t fully realized that shipping can be so expensive. After a bit of research, I found some nice cardboard tubes to ship prints up to A3 size paper. Because their dimensions are categorized under ‘normal mail’ in stead of ‘package mail’, I have managed to bring down the costs for shipping prints world wide from crazy expensive prices to a price that says: ”well, I guess that is fairly doable for bringing me a piece of art from this girl’s house in the Netherlands all the way to the Amazon jungle/Australian tree house/downtown Hong Kong where I live”. Not for canvasses though, because putting canvasses in a small tube isn’t that practical.
So, whether you are searching for some unique feel-good art to brighten up your living space, the perfect Christmas gift in the form of an affordable print, want to send a lovely card to someone to show you care or are simply curious and want to have a peek into what I have been working on: make sure to check out my brand new shop!
[using PayPal should already be possible, I expect to have the credit card payment option set up as well in the coming days.]
