Not too long ago I collaborated to make this artpiece. We made another one. The line drawing was made by Maxim van Lankveld, I did the coloring part. I love working on art with others. I think it can make the creative process more interesting and surprising.
Do you ever collaborate when making art?
(I have to say that the colors don’t stranslate as well in this picture as in real life. The camera I used seems to slightly distort the colors.)

When I designed sets for the high school drama dept. it was inspiring getting to work with the kids and watch them paint what I had mapped out. Also being part of the whole production was one of the most amazing creative experiences I have ever had.

Really? Because the colors look totally awesome to me. I love it! The first thing I notice are the vibrant and bright colors. Secondary is the fact that he’s creepy. And actually if you hadn’t mentioned that he’s creepy it probably would have taken me while to realize “Oh. He’s a little creepy looking isn’t he?” Haha! Bright pink beings can never be too creepy ; ]
