Here my motives were growing towards more serious goals. I really wish I was more genuinely interested in politics, but the thing is, I am not that much… not really. I think it is good to have some basic awareness of what is going on though, so my aspiring self was trying to reinforce my interest, by combining my motivation to learn how to draw portraits with drawing Dutch politicians (since it didn’t really matter that much to me who’s face I was drawing, it seemed like a win-win situation). I would rather not get into political discussions here, and the choice of people I have drawn does not say anything about my political views or preferences for them. I see these drawing as exercises only. (I don’t think the resemblance in this drawing is that good).

    Whoa, that is awesome!! It looks just like him! That’s really cool that you are learning to draw portraits with that method. :) I can’t wait to see more of your work!
