I am so happy with the new look of my bike! Every time I take a ride it makes me smile. And it means I already accomplished two of my summer list goals :)

After spray painting my bike I took off my flip flops. It turned out my bike was not the only thing with paint on it. My feet looked as if they were badly sunburned. I guess that my feet couldn’t get enough of the summer look after having painted my nails first.

Using a spray paint is faster, but the thing is, it won’t reach the other parts of your bike frame. Although you did a good job – Kudos to that! ^__^ – it would have been better if you disassembled it first, degreased it, and applied powder coating afterwards.

Yes of course; but every Dutch person owns a bike; all students own the most terrible old pieces of metal that are barely hold together. This one was an old one of my great grand aunt; so I just wanted to fix it up a little. I probably would do what you suggest with one that was in a better condition ;)
