My week with Anne is over and therefore another one of my summer list items completed. We had such a great time. Friday we went to the ‘Efteling’: a Dutch theme park. Originally it consisted of a magic forest in which different fairy tales were depicted. It has grown tremendously ever since and many more attractions were added in the decades that followed, the newer ones mainly being roller coasters. We saw snow white and the seven dwarves, sleeping beauty, Rapunzel, little red riding hood, Hans and Gretel, had great weather and short waiting lines, saw mushrooms that play music, flying carpets, and many many more awesome things. Although I love the adrenaline kick I got from the fast rides, the fairy tales made my experience the most inspiring and magical.

Oh…my….goodness! This is my dream land or at least a stop on the way to my dream land. I would like to think I was a fairy or pixie in another life…and probably lived in some type of dwelling in your photos!

Oh my gosh! It looked so fun! :) fairytales make every trip for me. There’s nothing like a little magic to complete the vacation.

When I lived in Holland, we went once, and I loved it. It was probably nine or ten years ago- so fun to see your photos!
