We adults, we just walk. And in the exceptional case that we do use those legs of ours in a different way it is probably highly functional; we run to catch a bus to meet with our busy schedule or we want to keep in shape.

Remember being a child; jumping, hopping, sliding, crawling and running just because it was fun? It is time to bring some of that nostalgia to the streets.

It has been raining for days, but the weather forecast stated at least two dry days in a row, so I took this moment as an opportunity for my little project:

One and a half hour, two pair very soar arms and legs and many pieces of chalk later a big trail of about 200 meter was finished. From 30 pieces of chalk this was all what was left:

While I was busy, this guy came up to me, asking me what I was doing. I answered him I was chalking on the sidewalk. *hesitant silence* “Why?” “Because it is fun”. He agreed with me and said he would try my hopscotch trail in the morning, before he would go to work and think of me and smile.

I don’t know where you live, but if I saw this I would totally hopscotch. :)
