This was a high school drawing of maybe ten years ago. I think the assignment had to do with textures and you needed to draw an animal using Indian ink. I chose to do a whole drawing using only little points. It took me forever and I never finished it (there was supposed to be a background and there is a part left out of the picture that isn’t there). I wonder how many dots I drew…

    When I was in high school we called it stipple when we made dot drawings. it is a slow but interesting process. Thanks for sharing this work, The drawing is cool, I especially like the teeth.

    @ Joice: Haha I love the name ‘stipple’. I think I will use that from now on as well :D

    @ Cosmia: Yeah I guess it connects to pointillism. I think I like all Seurats colors better though than the black and white used for this drawing.
